The Portman Estate's 110 acres in Marylebone, W1, has a rich heritage dating as far back as the 16th century. The Estates include key sites of architectural and historical interest, along with the Portman Village's cosmopolitan and vibrant blend of shops, restaurants, bars, hotels and garden squares. Kenyon is honoured to have worked with The Portman Estates over three years implementing their external fabric improvement programme. The company looks forward to continuing this useful partnership into the future.
Works undertaken have included a mixture of envelope restoration and high specification, internal refurbishments.
Kenyon also delivered complete external redecorations together with associated access scaffolding. Given the location of the properties and the mixed use of the buildings, careful planning was required to ensure that complete client satisfaction was achieved.
As a result of the trust that Kenyon successfully established with this client, the company was recently asked to take the lead role in preparing schedules of work and agreeing methods of working with other specialist suppliers.
