Specialist contractor T H Kenyon & Sons Ltd began trading in 1933 from offices in Croxley Road, Westminster. A reputation for quality was quickly established and it remains a hallmark of the company to the present day.

The acquisition of the Porch Group, an organisation with similar values to those of Kenyon, saw the business expand its operations across the UK, with offices opening in Cambridge, Sussex and Bristol. The Porch name was phased out following the acquisition, however a smaller operation in the West Country has retained the Porch identity and can be contacted at robinporch@hotmail.com

Over the years the Kenyon Group have been entrusted with contributing to the preservation of some of our country’s most treasured landmarks. Iconic structures such as Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, Althorpe, The Old War Office, Downing Street and The Parliamentary Buildings have all benefited from Kenyon’s commitment to quality and the application of traditional craftsmanship.

In recent years the business has consolidated its position as one of the South East’s leading historic refurbishment specialists. A prudent management approach has seen capital retained within the business to allow the organisation to focus on maintaining its longevity. Kenyon is in the enviable position of working entirely on its own capital without the burden of third party borrowings, a factor that provides our customers with considerable comfort in today’s uncertain times.
